How to reach a human at AGCV

Email info@agcv.com. That address reaches the people who actually run the Guild, not a call center reading from a script.

Include these three things

  1. The email address on your AGCV account. If you write from a different address, we cannot match you to a record without asking, which costs a round trip.
  2. What you were doing and what happened instead. Specific beats polite. "The certificate download returns an error on Safari" is worth more than "having trouble with the site."
  3. Any exact error text, copied rather than described.

What we can do

  • Fix account and access problems, including split or duplicate accounts
  • Correct a credential record, reissue a certificate, or confirm attendance
  • Handle billing: receipts, failed renewals, refunds, and firm memberships
  • Answer questions about the credentials, the coursework, and the exams

What we cannot do

  • Give legal advice. We can tell you what a rule says and how it is commonly applied. We cannot tell you what to do in your case.
  • Merge two accounts automatically on either platform. We can tell you which one should stay and move what is movable.
  • Intervene in a dispute with a firm or a client.

Other ways through

The contact page has the form and the phone number. For questions other members can answer faster than we can, and often better, post in the Legal Video Forum, which is open to anyone signed in.

Conduct problems

If your issue is harassment or a Code of Ethics concern rather than a technical one, write to support directly rather than posting it in the forum.
