What happens when you unblock someone
They'll be able to send you one-to-one direct messages again, and you can pick back up in any existing conversation thread.
How to unblock
From your account settings:
- Click your profile photo → Edit profile → Privacy.
- Find the Blocked members section and locate the person.
- Click Unblock next to their name.
From their profile or from a shared chat space/DM, the option works the same way: open the three-dot More actions menu and select Unblock direct messages.
If messages still aren't going through after unblocking, they may have blocked you separately, or have DMs disabled entirely - see Fix direct-message sending or receiving issues.
