Your AGCV membership card is available on demand, in whichever format suits the moment. Print one for your kit bag, keep a digital one on your phone, or carry both. You generate it yourself and you can generate it again any time.
Where to get it
Go to agcv.com/members/credentials.
Enter the email address on your AGCV account and we will send you a sign-in link. Click it and that browser stays signed in for thirty days, with no password to set and none to reset.
The membership card is for current members, so if your membership has lapsed the card section will tell you, and you can reactivate at hub.agcv.com. Your certification certificates stay available either way - those you keep.
The two formats
Both formats show the same thing: your name, your Guild membership, the credentials on your record, and a QR code.
Printable sheet. A letter page with crop marks, holding your card. Print it at 100% scale - not "fit to page", which will shrink it out of wallet size - on heavy stock, then cut along the marks. This is the one to keep in your bag for the deposition where opposing counsel asks who you are.
Digital card. The card by itself, at wallet size, with no page around it. Use it on your phone, in an email signature, or anywhere it will be read on a screen.
Each format has a Download button and an Email it to me button. The email goes to your account address only - there is no field to type a different recipient, by design. Forward it from your own inbox if you need to send it somewhere.
There is a limit of ten documents a day across cards and certificates together, which is there to catch a runaway loop before it generates a thousand PDFs.
The QR code
The QR code on your card opens your public verification page. Anyone can scan it - counsel, a scheduling coordinator - and see whether you are a current member and which credentials you hold, straight from AGCV records.
The scan reads the record rather than the card, so a card printed a year ago still returns your current status. That is also why the QR needs no maintenance from you.
When to download a new one
Your card is a snapshot of your record at the moment you generated it, so replace the file when the record changes.
You earned a new credential. Download again and the new card lists it.
Your name changed or was misspelled. Fix it on your profile at hub.agcv.com first, then download a fresh card.
A credential is missing. Certification records are not self-service. Write to info@agcv.com with the credential and roughly when you completed it, and we will check the records and correct your profile. Download the card again once it is fixed.
The QR code needs nothing from you, because it points at your live verification page, which updates on its own.
Your directory listing
While you are on the credentials page, it is worth checking the last panel. Current members are listed in the Current Member Directory automatically, with your name, location, and verified certifications, and your email address is never published.
If you would rather not appear, you can remove your listing there with one click, and your certifications stay verifiable through your card, your share links, and the email lookup. Worth weighing before you do: the directory is where firms go looking when they need a legal videographer in your area.
