Your certification certificate is available on demand from your credentials page. You do not have to request one, wait for a mailing, or ask anyone to generate it. It renders from your member record the moment you ask for it, which means it is always current.
Where to get it
Go to agcv.com/members/credentials.
Enter the email address on your AGCV account and we will send you a sign-in link. Click it and that browser stays signed in for thirty days, with no password to remember.
Use the address your AGCV account is under, because if you enrolled under one address and read your mail at another, the sign-in link still goes to the account address.
Who can download one
Every certificate you have earned is yours to download, whether or not your membership is currently active, because the credential belongs to you. Current membership is required only for the membership card.
If your credentials page shows no certifications, your AGCV profile does not yet have one on it. That is either because the credential has not been recorded, which we can fix, or because you have not earned one yet, in which case the certification tracks are the place to start.
Downloading and emailing it
Each credential on your page has two buttons.
Download certificate (PDF) delivers the file straight to your browser. It is sized for landscape letter paper and ready to print or attach.
Email it to me sends the same PDF to your account email address. There is deliberately no field to type a different recipient - the certificate can only ever land in the inbox that proved it was yours. Forward it from there to whomever you like.
There is a limit of ten documents a day across certificates and membership cards together. It is there to catch a runaway loop before it generates a thousand PDFs. If you hit it, wait until tomorrow or write to us.
Sharing it without sending a file
Next to the download buttons is Copy share link, which gives you a public page showing your certificate that the recipient can open without signing in or holding an AGCV account. Put it in your email signature, on LinkedIn, or in a proposal.
The share page is a view-only copy rather than a downloadable file, and that is on purpose. Anyone you send it to can confirm the credential without ending up holding a copy of your certificate. The actual PDF stays behind your sign-in, on your page.
Your share link looks like agcv.com/verify/<your-name>/cdvs, with the credential code on the end, and each credential you hold has its own.
Updating certificate information
The certificate draws its name straight from your AGCV member record, so a fix in one place fixes it everywhere - certificate, card, directory listing, and verification page.
A misspelled or outdated name. Update your profile at hub.agcv.com, then come back to your credentials page and download the certificate again. The new one renders with the corrected name.
A missing credential. Certification records are not self-service. Write to info@agcv.com, tell us which credential and roughly when you completed it, and we will check the course and exam records and correct your profile.
Once a correction lands, the corrected certificate is one download away, and nothing has to be reissued by hand.
How to earn one in the first place
AGCV issues three credentials, each attached to one pillar of the work: CDVS for deposition video, CEVS for evidentiary video, and CTTS for trial technology. Each follows the same shape - a free 101 course, a masterclass, and an assessment at the end.
Almost everyone earns the CDVS first, because it is the foundation credential and the one that gets you booked. Start at agcv.com/certifications, or take the free Legal Video Career Path course if you would rather see all three pillars before you commit to one. Whichever you pick, keep going and keep investing in the craft!
