Meet the Community button.
Look at the bottom-right corner of any page on this site. That little navy chat bubble? It opens the AGCV working community — directly, without leaving the page you're on.
What it is
The Community button is the fastest path from anywhere on agcv.com into the working forum, the member directory, and the rest of the Guild's community space. It lives on every page — bottom-right corner, dark navy with a small chat-bubble icon. Click it and a panel slides in over whatever you were reading.
What it does
- Browse without leaving. Glance at the latest forum threads while you're reading a field guide. No back-button gymnastics.
- Sign in once. If you're a member, the panel keeps you signed in across pages. No re-authenticating to jump from a course catalog page to the forum.
- Jump to a space. Open the Legal Video Forum, a course discussion, the directory, or any other space the Guild runs — all from the same button.
- Notifications follow you. The small red dot tells you when someone replied to your thread or @-mentioned you, even if you're three pages deep in the certifications section.
Who sees what
Everyone sees the button. What's behind it depends on your status:
- Visitors see the public face of the community — what kind of conversations are happening, who's posting, the shape of the forum. Read-only.
- Free Guild members can read public threads, RSVP to events, and view the directory.
- Professional and Firm members get the full working forum — job board, equipment threads, and members-only discussions.

The button is for quick checks. When you want to settle in and read — or post something long — open the full Legal Video Forum page, which embeds the same community at full width.
One small ask
If you've been hesitating because you weren't sure where to start: click the button, look around, and post a hello in the introductions space. That's the easiest first move, and the community responds quickly.
