How to get into the working community.
The forum, the member directory, and the course discussions all live in one place — the AGCV hub. Here's what's behind the door, and the three ways in.
One hub, not five logins
The working forum, the member directory, the course discussions, and event RSVPs all run out of a single place — the AGCV hub at hub.agcv.com. One sign-in covers all of it, and it's the same account you use for the free courses.
That consolidation is deliberate. The Guild used to scatter conversation across a half-dozen surfaces and nobody could find anything twice. Now there's one door.
Three ways in
- The full forum page. The Legal Video Forum embeds the community at full width — the right way to settle in, read a long thread, or post something substantial.
- The community panel. On the community and course pages, a navy chat-bubble button sits in the bottom-right corner. Click it and a panel slides in over what you were reading, so you can glance at recent threads without losing your place.
- Straight to the hub. hub.agcv.com — bookmark it. That's where notifications, replies, and @-mentions land.
What's actually behind the door
The forum is where practitioners trade equipment notes, sanity-check a rate before quoting it, work through a procedure question, and post job leads. It's intentionally narrow — the working forum is for practitioners, including court reporters and paralegals expanding into video. That's what keeps it useful instead of turning it into a vendor channel.
The member directory runs the other direction: it's the listing attorneys and firms search when they need a videographer in a jurisdiction, with credential badges attached.
Who sees what
- Visitors see the public face — the shape of the conversation and who's in it. Read-only.
- Free Guild members read public threads, RSVP to events, take the free coursework, and appear in the directory.
- Professional and Firm members get the full working forum — job board, equipment threads, members-only discussion, and a featured directory listing with credential badges.

The easiest first move
If you've been hesitating because you weren't sure where to start: open the forum, find the introductions space, and post a hello with what you work on and where. That's it. The community answers quickly, and the people who post once in the first week are the ones who are still there a year later.
