Court reporters & digital reporters — you're already in the room.

Court reporters and digital reporters are AGCV's fastest-growing membership segment. The reason is simple: you already know the work; we just add the camera.

You're already in the room.

Court reporters and digital reporters sit in the same depositions where legal videographers earn their day rate. You already know the procedure, you already know the witnesses, and you already have the relationships with the firms doing the booking. What you don't have — yet — is the credential that says you can run the video side too.

What changes when you add video.

The math is straightforward. The same booking that pays your reporter day rate now pays a reporter day rate plus a videographer day rate, often with a bundled-service premium on top. Working members report combined day rates of $850–$1,200 within their first six months of dual-service work.

What CDVS gives you that you don't already have.

The legal procedure is your home turf — but the technical layer (the signal chain, the redundancy, the post-deposition certification packet) is new. CDVS is built around exactly that gap. The legal-rules modules are review for you; the equipment, the on-the-record sequence, and the post-deposition workflow are the new material.

The objection most reporters raise — and the answer.

"My firm wants to bill audio and video separately." That's a real concern, and it's a firm-by-firm conversation. Many firms now actively prefer a single bundled service because it solves their staffing pain. Others want the unbundled model. The CDVS Business module walks through both conversations.

Court reporters in the Guild.

More than 200 working members hold both an AAERT or NCRA reporting credential and at least one AGCV certification. They're the fastest-growing segment of the membership.

Built for the court reporter ready to add video.

Membership is the fastest way to plug into a working community of reporters who've already done it — and the firms looking for them.
